A Video Ads Agency That Edits for the First Two Seconds
We're a video ads agency, not a general editing house. Every cut we make is aimed at the moment a viewer decides to keep watching or keep scrolling, and every video ships in the formats and variations your campaigns actually need.
- Cut natively for each placement, not one landscape edit cropped five ways
- Captions as standard, for feeds watched with the sound off
- Variations to test, so campaigns have something to choose between

We review the ads running now, the formats they run in and how often they change, then walk you through what we'd fix first. You keep the findings either way.

What does a video ads agency do?
A video ads agency turns your footage into ads built for a specific platform and a specific campaign goal, then produces the variations needed to test what works. The editing decisions are advertising decisions: what goes first, what gets cut, where the offer lands, what the caption says.
That's different from general video editing services, where the job ends when the video looks good. Video editing for ads has a number attached to it, so we edit toward the click, the lead or the sale, and we keep cutting new versions while the campaign runs.
Edited toward the clickWhy do good videos fail in the first two seconds?
Because the edit saves the best moment for later. If the opening doesn't show the viewer something worth staying for, the rest of the video never gets watched, no matter how well it was shot.
The other three we see constantly: one landscape edit cropped for every placement, so the subject sits outside the frame on Reels; no captions, in feeds where most people watch with the sound off; and a single version with nothing to test against, so the campaign has no way to improve.
Where the viewer decides
- 01The payoff goes first. Not at second eight, where nobody sees it.
- 02Cut natively per placement. So the subject stays in frame.
- 03Captions on by default. The message lands with the sound off.
- 04Three versions, not one. Different hooks, same offer.
Which formats do you edit for?
All the ones your campaigns run in, cut natively rather than cropped from one master. Each placement has its own shape, length and habits.
| Where it runs | Format | Usual length | What matters most |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reels and Stories | 9:16 vertical | 15 to 30 seconds | A hook in the first second, captions, safe margins |
| YouTube Shorts | 9:16 vertical | 10 to 60 seconds | Fast pacing, one idea per video |
| YouTube in-stream | 16:9 horizontal | 15 to 30 seconds | Brand and offer before the skip button |
| Feed and in-feed ads | 1:1 or 4:5 | 15 to 30 seconds | Readable on a small screen, captioned |
| Landing page video | 16:9 or 1:1 | 30 to 90 seconds | Answering the objection that blocks the sale |
Do you need vertical video for Google Ads?
Yes, if you want the Shorts inventory. Google's Performance Max specs recommend one video of each orientation, and at least one vertical video between 10 and 60 seconds for Shorts eligibility.
There's a second reason to supply your own vertical cut. Google can resize your videos automatically, and from August 2026 it began using generative AI to create missing aspect ratios from existing Performance Max video assets unless advertisers opted out. A machine reframe doesn't know where your logo, product or legal line needs to sit. Supplying a proper vertical edit keeps that decision yours.
Every campaign ships with the ratios its placements actually use.
Vertical, where the inventory isResults fading a few weeks after launch?
That's usually creative, not targeting. The free audit shows which ads are worn out and what to cut next.
What does social media video editing involve day to day?
Short form video editing is mostly decisions about pace and clarity: cutting the dead air, putting the payoff first, keeping one idea per video, and making sure it reads on a phone at arm's length. Then it's captions, safe margins so nothing important sits under the interface, and a clear end card.
Volume matters as much as polish. Social feeds burn through creative, so we work to a schedule of new edits rather than one big video a quarter, and we keep the versions that earn their place.
How many versions of an ad should you test?
Enough that the campaign has something to choose between, which in practice means at least three per concept: different openings, different captions, different end cards. One video gives the platform nothing to optimize.
We keep the variations deliberate so results mean something. Change the hook and hold everything else steady, then keep what wins and cut new versions from it. That's how Meta and Google Ads campaigns stay fresh instead of fading after a few weeks.
We edit what you shootDo you make UGC-style ads, and do you shoot the footage?
We edit UGC video ads to feel like a person talking to camera rather than a brand advertising: minimal effects, natural audio, captions and a straightforward claim. We can work from footage shot by your customers, your team or creators you've hired. What we won't do is fake a testimonial, because that's dishonest and a fast route to an ad account problem.
On filming: we're an editing and ad creative agency, not a production company. Most of our work starts from footage you already have. If a campaign genuinely needs new footage, we'll tell you what to shoot and how, or point you to someone for the video ad production side.
How much do video editing services cost?
Cost tracks volume and complexity more than length. A batch of short cuts from existing footage is quick; motion graphics, multiple languages or heavy cleanup take longer, and a monthly batch is priced differently from a one-off.
We scope it after the audit, so you know what each batch includes before anything starts.
How fast is the turnaround?
A first edit usually comes back within a few working days once we have the footage and the brief, with variations following shortly after. Batches run to an agreed schedule so your campaigns never wait on creative.
The delay is almost always footage and feedback. We'll tell you exactly what we need, and keep revision rounds tight so an ad doesn't spend a month in approval while the campaign stalls.
